Pagudpud Beach has been attracting tourists from all over the world for quite some time now, and also offers a congenial, relaxed ambience for pregnant moms. Compared to the other beaches in Philippines, Pagudpud Beach is not all that commercialized, which is quite a bit of good news for parents-to-be who want to spend a peaceful babymoon all by themselves.

Besides spending a relaxed beach holiday that includes admiring the magnificent sunsets, you can also visit nearby attractions that are easy to reach. Saud White Beach is a popular beach with a breathtaking view and superb landscape. This beach has been an inspiration for many films and writers who can’t seem to have enough of its beauty.

A visit to Bantay Abot Caves will also add a lot of fun to your babymoon. Bantay Abot Caves means “a mountain with a hole”. In the middle of the mountain, a hole was found where the waves from the sea used to come and hit and then recede, just like they do on the shore. However during an earthquake, this hole was disrupted. The place is also known as the “underground sea” owing to the thick vegetative growth on the top of the cave. The most amazing thing is that inside this cave you will find a church where the surrounding natural sounds echo to bring about an almost mystical effect. Moms-to-be will find this experience completely out of this world, and it is surely worth a visit. Here you will also find many places to sit, relax and relish the wonderful views of the sea and the distant mountains.

Timmangtang Rock is another nearby attraction that you should not miss out on. This unique rock formation is positioned a few kilometers away from Bantay Abot caves, and is situated by the shore and partially by the sea. This fantastic location makes it a unique attraction and a favorite spot among tourists. A romantic explanation for the close proximity of Bantay Abot caves and Timmangtang Rock is that they are both lovers, the caves being female and the Rock formation being male. These two are together known as “Lover’s Rock”, a must visit for couples looking at experiencing a truly romantic babymoon. A favorite tourist activity is to go for a campfire at the bottom of this majestic rock. A visit to the “Lover’s Rock” will add oodles of romance and charm to your babymoon.

Another romantic spot you and your spouse can visit is the Nacatnagan Cliff. This cliff lies in a beautiful virgin forest with a rich growth of exotic trees and birds. There are many wild animals that also stroll about the place. The rare orchids growing at the slopes of the mountains further enhance the beauty of the place. From the top of this cliff, you will get to see the most enchanting view of the surrounding area.

Besides gazing at amazing panoramic views from hilltops, you can also plan a trip to two beautiful waterfalls- the Kabigan Falls and the Saguigui Falls. The Kabigan Falls is situated at the eastern side of Barangay Balaoi and is easily accessible from the national highway. This waterfall is set in a beautiful natural area of thick forests. Saguigui Falls is smaller in size and is positioned at Barangay Balaoi, and is also easily accessible from the national highway. This waterfall is not so easy to reach, and visitors are recommended to go with an expert tour guide if they wish to see the place.
