Pulau Langkawi, is part of the state of Kedah, whereby is quite suitable for babymoon couple who looking for a more quiet and relaxing place to visit for.

Babymoon couples can choose to stay at the hotel along the beach, such as hotels or resorts at Pantai Cenang. Pantai Cenang is Langkawi’s most popular tourist destination, located near the airport and 25 km away from Kuah Town. The hallmark of this beach is its 3 km of sandy goodness, beautiful scenery, exciting tourist attractions, shopping opportunities, exciting nightlife and convenient facilities.

If you are looking for more relaxing and soothing, Tanjung Rhu, located in the north is your best choice. Tanjung Rhu is also known as the ‘Casuarina Beach’ for its abundance of Casuarina trees rather than the usual palms and coconuts. Tanjung Rhu is sheltered by the curve of the bay while its waters are shallow and warm. The secluded beach in the bay offers gorgeous sights, including a view of Thailand’s coast-line on a clear day. Besides beaching yourself, you can also explore the surrounding tropical rainforest.

You may also visit to Pantai Pasir Hitam (Black Sand) as this is an unusual beach with a strange coloration. The sand is mixed in white and black shades, but rich in tin and mineral deposits (iron ore).

Makam Mahsuri
The famous legend of Langkawi which stories the tale of a woman accused of adultery and sentenced to death. When stabbed, she bled white blood as a sign of her innocence.

The Underwater World Langkawi is an innovative marine aquarium. There are 5,000 types of aquatic life and some mammal and reptile species. You will definitely enlighten by the beauty of Malaysia’s flora and fauna both on land and sea. There is also a 3-D theatre which showcases documentaries on marine life.

Dataran Lang (Eagle Square)
At the Kuah Jetty, there is a giant red eagle statue permanently suspended in mid-flight which it is the marks of the Kuah Jetty Eagle Square. A mini park filled with scenic ponds, bridges, covered terraces, restaurants and barrel vaults made of bricks is a great place to take a stroll with your beloved husband as the sea breeze gently caresses your face.

The Cultural Craft Complex located in Teluk Yu has an array of traditional Malaysian handicrafts such as gleaming silverware, meticulously-crafted wooden figures, and delicately- crafted bamboo carvings, tapestries of intricate batik silk for the visitor to admire and to purchase. The gallery is free to enter as it is built to promote Malaysia’s cultural heritage.
